Yeah,
Dog Cheese was amazing. Saw the first show at the Baked Potato. It was the first time I saw Vinnie. I almost came unglued. I thought I was going to jump out of my seat and start screaming. The band was always Tav on sax and EWI. Larry Williams might have subbed once. I was at a show at"At My Place" and Tav was definitely doing the gig. Have a boot of it. I think this was the same show drumaddict was at as well.

P.S. Georgina and Stud Sandwich are the correct names of those tunes

Being an "older" member here..hehe
I have seen Dog Cheese several times.
Killer Band!!

I have a tape recording somewhere around of them playing at the Baked Potato. Also have some pictures as well.

Not sure about the sound quality, but the playing was off the hook.

I'll look around.

Heh heh, yeah.

Whatever glue ya gots holdin' yer ba-da-dum arse together, Vinnie can melt it down. Into a quivering mass of semi-disgusting poly-fluid.
a few studio heavy weights such as Jeff Porcaro and Carlos Vega would float in through the back door and check out the band...The Woodland Hills Drum Club was there that night as well being blown away (Bissonette, Craney, Myron G. and Doanne Perry

Similar to mine the first time i ever saw/heard him [on first listen to the assault of SUNPYG to prepare myself for the subsequent 1st-time live clinic onslaught w Tim L, all in the same 1/2-week, mayhem & havoc it was. Up until that moment my main hero was NP. Got my arse removed forcably by rippage & fed back to me in heftily unpleasant sado-masochistic amounts. The yin & yang of pleasure/pain...It has since grown back, but never w the same quasi-pleasantries, aesthetically.]

Yeah, that was the point...VC too had my cracked up, down, sideways, & every which way AND loose [like poly-fluids]...it was the all-time rhythmic-enema i was so desperately needing as a boy from da burbs.
Sorry. ;-]
